MIBR, Fnatic, FURIA and EG complete the StarSeries S8 playoffs list
MIBR, Fnatic, FURIA and Evil Geniuses were able to reach the semi-finals of the lower brackets in their groups and guaranteed themselves to be in the top-8. Now they will continue the group stage of StarSeries i-League CS:GO Season 8 for a more favourable seeding in the next stage.
In group A, MIBR quite confidently dealt with Imperial and North, both matches ended with a score of 2:0. At the same time, Fnatic, who went down to the lower bracket after losing to Renegades, beat mousesports 2:0 in the decider match.
Group B unpleasantly surprised CIS fans with results. NAVI, occupying the 9th position of the HLTV world ranking, could not beat Heroic and left the tournament in the last place. Not much better were AVANGAR, who passed to the second round of the lower bracket, where they lost to FURIA with a score of 2:1.
