LORGAR RANKINGS Announced: StarLadder’s New CS2 Tier-2 Tournament for Eastern Europe

This spring, we bring Eastern Europe its own battleground: LORGAR RANKINGS, an official CS2 Tier-2 tournament running from February 28th to April 26th. The tournament, initiated by LORGAR, will start with national Qualifiers across the region and end in an offline Finals, where the top professional teams will compete for $50,000 and the crown.

Tournament Structure 
LORGAR RANKINGS brings together teams from across EE through a qualification system built around regional competition. Poland, Ukraine, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary, Romania, Bulgaria, the Baltic States, and the Balkans will all be represented as teams begin their run towards the LAN Finals. 

Open National Qualifiers 
Dates: March 12 - 15.

Location: Online on FACEIT 
Format: Single Elimination, Bo1, Deciders - Bo3.

The tournament kicks off with Open National Qualifiers, open for registration for all teams in the Eastern Europe region from February 26 to the start of each qualifier. 
Teams are allowed to participate in a qualifier provided that at least three players from the main roster are citizens of countries for which the qualifier is being held.
Any team can try their hand and battle for a chance to advance, with the TOP teams from each qualifier securing spots to the Closed Qualifier. 

Closed Qualifier
Dates: March 20 - April 10.

Location: Online on FACEIT
Stages: GSL Group Stage, Play-in. 
Play-in Format: Double Elimination, Bo3.

LAN Finals
Dates: April 25-26.

Location: Offline studio format, EU Schengen Area
Format: Single Elimination, Bo3.
Prize pool: $50,000.

The LAN Finals will wrap the competition in a 2-day studio setting, bringing together 8 teams: the top 4 teams advancing from the Closed Qualifier and the top 4 teams invited directly based on the European VRS rating. In total, 40 players from across the region will compete in high-stakes single-elimination matches for the title and the prize.
