The regional qualifiers for StarLadder Major Berlin 2019 have come to an end. Now, we know the names of all 24 teams that will be competing for the CS:GO world-championship title and a $1,000,000 prize-pool from August 23 to September 8.

StarLadder Major Berlin 2019: The New Challengers Stage
Eight tickets to the Berlin Major were given away in the Minors for Asia, CIS, Europe, and America (two per region), while the last three spots were granted to the winners of the Play-in Stage. It was a last-chance qualifier that saw four teams that placed third in their respective Minors fighting for a place in the list of teams for the main event.

The teams that are mentioned above qualified for StarLadder Major Berlin 2019: The New Challengers Stage, which will be the inaugural stage of this tournament. In the first phase of the competition, they will be up against five squads that secured their spots as a result of their performance at the previous Major in Katowice.

StarLadder Major Berlin 2019: The New Challengers Stage will be held on August 23-26. It is set to use the Swiss System BO1 + BO3 for elimination and advancement matches. Eight best participants of this part of the event will move on to The New Legends Stage (August 28 - September 1) that will run by the same variation of the Swiss format. It is also the time when the Playoffs finalists of IEM Katowice 2019 will kick off their participation.

A new world-champion in CS:GO will be crowned in StarLadder Major Berlin 2019: The New Champions Stage, where eight strongest teams from the Top 16 would face off against each other in the Playoffs bracket of Single Elimination BO3. The last part of the Major is scheduled for September 5-8, with Mercedes-Benz Arena being the chosen venue to host the final act of the 15th CS:GO event supported by Valve.
