G2 Esports, mousesports to attend StarSeries i-League S8

The list of teams for the eighth season of StarSeries i-League CS:GO keeps growing! The next pair of invitations to the LAN-finals in Turkey has been acquired by G2 Esports and mousesports.

G2 Esports has made some substantial changes in its CS:GO roster. It parted ways with Richard "shox" Papillon and Lucas "Lucky" Chastang, replacing them by two former players of CR4ZY, Nemanja "nexa" Isaković and Nemanja "huNter-" Kovač. Thus, G2 is not a one-national squad anymore, and now it has entered the international scene of CS:GO. StarSeries i-League S8 will be one of the first big events where we are going to see the new Samurai lineup in action.

After missing the previous season that took place in China, mousesports is coming back to StarSeries i-League CS:GO! This organization has the championship title of StarSeries i-League S4, which was held at the beginning of 2018, under its belt. Chris "chrisJ" de Jong and Robin "ropz" Kool are the only survivors of that roster, and now the team is led by the former captain of Astralis and FaZe Clan, Finn "karrigan" Andersen. The last two spots in the lineup belong to young and incredibly talented players, Özgür "woxic" Eker and David "frozen" Čerňanský.

Season Eight of StarSeries i-League CS:GO will culminate with the LAN-finals in Turkey, Belek, and it is scheduled for October 21-27. The list of participants for this event will be formed by twelve invitees and four winners of the regional qualifiers in Europe, Asia, and Brazil. Previously invites were received by Renegades, AVANGAR, FURIA Esports, MIBR, FNATIC, Ninjas in Pyjamas, Team Vitality, and Evil Geniuses.
