WESG CS:GO APAC: Day Three Review
The third match-day at the LAN-finals of WESG APAC in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive was marked with a start of the matches within the stage of Playoffs, which was attended by 8 teams, who succeeded through the group stage. Also we have learnt the names of squads, who secured tickets to the WESG Global Grand Finals.
The Kazakh team advanced to the Grand-finals
FIVE eSports Club, VG.CyberZen, Fire Dragoon E-sports and k23 secured victory in the quarterfinal matches, thus getting slots in the Grand-finals of WESG.
A destiny of the last two tickets to the WESG Global Grand Finals was decided among the teams, who had been defeated in the starting Playoffs' matches. ENZO and Signature Gaming proved to be stronger than their opponents and joined a participant-list of the Grand-finals of World Electronic Sports Games.
In a third-place-decider match were fighting VG.CyberZen and Fire Dragoon E-sports, in which the Chinese squad prevailed over the opponents with [2:0].
In the semifinal encounters the upper hand was gained by k23 and FIVE eSports Club, who will fight for a title of the strongest team among WESG APAC in CS:GO tomorrow.
