A day earlier, we announced that North, Gambit Esports and will participate in the tournament in Kiev. They were invited due to the fact that distribution of spots to the LAN-part of the event was changed. As FaZe Clan, Fnatic, G2 Esports and Astralis rejected invites because of a busy schedule, they were sent to the participants of the regional qualifiers in CIS and Europe which there placed right after the winners, standing a step away from a ticket to StarSeries i-League.

Now, when one of the most titled teams in the history of the game joined the list of participants, we know the names of all sixteen teams, which will be fighting for the championship trophy of StarSeries i-League CS:GO.

Last time we saw SK Gaming at StarSeries i-League was the fourth season. Back then, Epitácio "TACO" de Melo was still playing for SK, and the Brazilian five took the 5-8th place after being defeated by his future team, Liquid. Right now, we have a former player of Cloud9 and a Major winner, Jacky "Stewie2K" Yip, on his place.
