PGL will organize the next CS:GO Major-tournament

PGL company, which organizes the official championships by Valve in Dota 2, has announced their first Major-tournament in Counter-Strike:Global Offensive. The rumors about this event have shown up in the late June of 2016 and now they are officially proved.

PGL CS:GO Major Krakow

The quals will be held in four regions: America, Europe, CIS and Asia. Winners of the regional quals will advance to the stage of the offline-qualifiers, and only the teams, who will pass them, will reach the LAN-finals. The finals stage will be divided into the group stage and the Playoffs, taking place from June 16-23 in Krakow, Poland.  

Schedule of the CS:GO Major:

  •  1-4 of June - ASIA Minor
  •  8-11 of June - CIS Minor and Americas Minor
  •  15-18 of June - Europe Minor
  •  29 of June - 2 of July - Offline Qualifier
  •  16 - 19 of July - Major Group Stage
  •  21 - 23 of July - Major Main Event


Also were brought to light all invites to the final tournament’s stage. Eight teams, who received direct invites by PGL:
