About PEL Contenders Promo

PEL Contenders Promo is a promotional tournament between the PEL Contenders and the PEL Open, in which the strongest PUBG teams will be able to advance to the upper division. The PEL Contenders Promo is divided into 2 stages with 16 teams in each stage. The first stage will gather 12 teams from the PEL Open and Wild Card, and 4 teams from the PEL Contenders’ group stage (teams placed 12th and 13th from each group). After 12 matches, eight winners will move further to the second stage where they will be joined by 2 more teams from the PEL Contenders’ group stage (placed 11th from each group) and 6 more teams from the PEL Open. Following the results of the second stage, 6 teams will advance to the next phase of the PEL Contenders, while the remaining teams will leave the tournament and will have to go through the PEL Open again.
