LAN-finals of CIS Minor will be held in Moscow

NThe LAN-finals of CIS Minor will be held in Moscow, in the club Gamer Stadium, from June 8-11. The best 8 teams from the CIS region will come together in a clash for two slots to the closed qualifiers of the main event of this summer - CS:GO PGL Major Kraków.

The championship CIS Minor will take three stages: open qualifier, closed qualifier and LAN final. The best 4 teams, following an outcome of the first qualifying stage, will advance to the Closed Qualifier powered by FACEIT, where they will be joined by the invited 12 squads.

The second qualifying stage will take place from May 16-19 by the GSL format. All the 16 teams were divided into 4 groups, by the results of which, 2 of the strongest teams from each group will move further to the LAN-finals of CIS Minor. All games of the closed qualifier will be held up to two wins (Bo3).

LAN-finals

The final stage of CIS Minor will be the four-day’s championship in Moscow, in the club Gamer Stadium. The LAN will kick off with a group stage, which will be also held by the GSL format. Eight participants will be seeded into 2 groups, by the outcome of a closed qualifier. Games of the first round, as well as the finals of winners will be played up to one win (Bo1), while rest of the matches within the group stage will be up to two victories (Bo3). Following the results of the groups stage, the teams, which will secure 1-2nd places in their groups, will pass to the Playoffs.

The Playoffs’ stage will be held in the format of Double Elimination, allowing the teams, who lost in one of match, to bounce back in the lower bracket, reaching the tournament’s finals. All matches of the Playoffs will be played up to two wins (Bo3). The both Grand-finals’ participants will get a chance to perform at PGL Major Kraków Closed qualifier.
