The countering started on de_nuke. The Polish team won the pistol and next two rounds. Gambit Gaming took over the lead in the device one and eventually leveled the score [3:3], after that managed to completely forge ahead. Only at [8:3] Virtus.Pro found a way to interrupt the opponent's winning run, having picked up three more points. The first half ended with a score of [9:6] in favor of the CIS-team.

Thanks to the quad-kill by Dmitry «hooch» Bogdanov, Gambit Gaming took the pistolround, going on dominating their opponent. At the mark of [14:6] the Poles seized control and began to gradually narrow the gap. The CIS-squad braced up and didn't let Virtus.Pro make a comeback. [16:12] and Gambit Gaming gained the upper hand on the first map.

The game was continued on de_train. Virtus.Pro picked up the pistolround and two anti-eco's [3:0]. Despite the win of the CIS-squad in the device round, the Poles immediately retook the control over the tide of the encounter and continued to score points. However, Gambit Gaming weren't planning on giving up, making overtures to the opponent [5:6]. The following struggle was unfolding fairly equally, but the team led by Dmitry «hooch» Bogdanov proved to be stronger in the first half [8:7].

After the switchover, Virtus.Pro shot ahead by taking six rounds in a row. Then Gambit Gaming strengthened their positions and implemented force-buy, but the Poles finally managed to score the victorious points, having cleaned clock on de_train [16:9].
