The pick of the Danish team — de_overpass — kicked off the decisive confrontation. Despite the defeat in the pistolround, NRG managed to implement eco and seized the initiative for a while. However Astralis weren't going to accept that kind of landscape, starting to reduce the gap rapidly. The American line-up failed to stop the opponents, losing the first half with a score of [9:6].

The T-side of the Danes has proved to be in the same high league, as before [12:6]. The American team has tried to make a comeback, taking seven rounds more, but it was not enough. Astralis have gathered the strength quite in time, locking down the battle on de_overpass [16:13].

The match has renewed on the map-pick of NRG — de_cache. After the lost pistolround, the Danish squad managed to realize the force in return [1:1]. This victory has significantly added confidence to the Astralis' game, so they've found a way to retake the control over the struggle. The tactical pause has helped out NRG eSports to interrupt the opponent's winning streak, and then they've even replenished their bank with another five points. Moving to the T-side, the team from Denmark was still setting the pace [9:6].

CT-sided, the US-team has beaten the enemy in the pistol round, easily bringing the match to a draw [9:9]. The further struggle was unfolding on fairly equal terms, so that the teams didn't manage to define the strongest in the second half [15:15]. However, NRG have failed to make a comeback in a series of OT and, as a result, Astralis have emerged victorious [19:16].
