ECS S6 Finals Viewer’s Guide

From 22 to 25 October, Arlington, Texas, will be hosting the LAN-finals of the sixth season of Esports Championship Series, where $660,000 will be on the table. The largest esports-focused arena in North America, Esports Stadium will be the venue of this event, opening its doors for esports for the first time since its creation.

Astralis are the ongoing champions of ECS

At ECS S6 Finals, we will be seeing a competition between eight best teams from Europe and North America, which qualified to the tournament based on their results in the online season. The only exception is Cloud9, who will serve as a replacement for Renegades because the latter encountered visa and schedule issues.

The tournament in Arlington will kick off by the group stage, which will run by the rules of the GSL system. Opening matches will be played in Best of 1, while all the rest in Best of 3. Four best teams — two from each group — will advance to the Playoffs, where their path to the victory will lie in Single Elimination Bo3 bracket.

Day Three, November 24:

Day Four, November 25:

  • • 22:00 — Astralis 2-0 MiBR | Grand Final | Best of 3


The participating teams will test each other’s skills in a fight for a massive prize pool that amounts to $660,000. Distribution of the prize money would be as follows:

  • • 1st place — Astralis ($250,000)
  • • 2nd place — MiBR ($120,000)
  • • 3-4th place — Ninjas in Pyjamas, North ($65,000)
  • • 5-6th place — mousesports, NRG Esports ($45,000)
  • • 7-8th place — Cloud9, Team Liquid ($35,000)


The official English stream will be available on FACEIT’s YouTube channel. Speaking about the Russian broadcast on YouTube, it will be StarLadder’s responsibility.
