SL i-League StarSeries S3 finished$300'000
The StarLadder and ImbaTV companies present you the announcement of the third joint season of StarSeries in Dota 2. The best squads from four world-regions — Europe, North America, Asia and China — will fight for 8 tickets to the final tournament's stage, held in the largest city of the Celestial Empire — Shanghai.
Aside from the high-prestige champions' trophy of SL i-League StarSeries, the teams will play for a prize pool of $300,000.
Qualifiers for the LAN-finals of SL i-League StarSeries will be held in three stages. Everyone interested will be granted an opportunity to join the strongest teams of their region via the open qualifiers. In Europe, as opposed to the other regions, there will be only two such chances.

The winners of the open qual-stage in the North America and Asia will advance straight to the main qualifier.
In turn, the triumphants of two open qualifiers in Europe will be up to fight against the six invited teams within the closed qual-stage. Two of the best teams will secure an advance to the main tournament's stage, where they will fight against the best representatives of their regions for tickets to the LAN-finals.

The main qualifying stage in Europe, North America and Asia will be held in the league-format, while the Chinese teams will play in the Double Elimination system.

The LAN-finals' venue
For a champions' cup of SL i-League StarSeries S3 and a prize pool of $300,000, the squads will fight in the largest Chinese city — Shanghai. The venue was chosen to be the Shanghai International Gymnastics Center, built in 1997. The total area is amounted to 24 900 square meters and can accommodate up to 4 000 viewers.
SL i-League StarSeries S3 will be covered in three languages: Russian, English and Chinese. The Russian-language stream will be held by casters and analysts of the StarLadder studio, who will present you a great deal of positive emotions from the clashes among the strongest teams of Europe, North America, Asia and China.
